For 17 years, Kerri Wynne MacLeod hosted the morning radio show on Ocean 100 on PEI.
On its website, the broadcaster posted the news. McLeod, a Montagu native, began her business endeavors in a Main Street shop. She started her broadcasting career in 2005 on CHTN, and the following year she took over the Ocean 100 morning show.

In 2006, New Cap established Ocean 100, and Kerri Wynne was named co-host of the Ocean 100 Morning Show. She’s hosted an incredible amount of events over the years. Warren Ellis and his family’s “Grass Roots and Cowboy Boots,” which earned over $14 million for the Prince County Hospital Foundation, was headed by her. She also played a significant role in the QEH Foundation Great Day of Giving and the IWK Radiothon last year. Years ago, she and her co-hosts would be imprisoned in a studio until it was stuffed with donated food; more recently, they have expanded the Ocean Food Drive by turning it into a “Fill a Bus Food Drive.” She enjoys participating in the Toys for Tots initiative and frequently delivers to Montague herself with toys that have been donated to the Kings County region.
