Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete and who is 27, said that Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, shot her in Los Angeles on July 12, 2020, after a party. She said that the two artists had a fight in a car that Lanez owned.
Megan says that when she got out of the car, Lanez shot at her feet and told her to “dance b—-h.” Megan was taken to the hospital after what happened, and doctors said they took bullet pieces out of her feet.
Megan also said that Lanez offered her $1 million to keep quiet about what happened, but she didn’t take him up on the offer.
Megan said that the shooting had “messed up my whole life” when she went to court. She said that the rap industry had gotten together behind Lanez and tried to shut her up because she spoke out.
“If I had known I was going to have to go through this torture, I wish he had just shot me,” she said in court.
